Around a month after Renard refuted allegations of him being linked to coach the Moroccan national soccer team, he finally acknowledged that his agent Youssif Haijoub is officially negotiating with Moroccan officials on his behalf.
He said: “I can confirm my agent Youssef Haijoub has been carrying out negotiations on my behalf with Moroccan officials but there have been many things to clear up there and Morocco is not the only destination on my list at the moment,”
“Let’s see what happens after here. In football, you can never say what will happen next. Nothing is certain.” He added.
Worthy pointing out that Renard who is currently coaching Sochaux, a French league team, led the Chipolopolo of Zambia clinch the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
Hassan Benabicha is the actual Moroccan National team interim coach and officials are in quest of a Big caliber ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nation, an event hosted in Morocco.
