The ANP (National Agency of Phosphate) said phosphate exports increased by 15% (This January-February 2014) compared to the same period of last year.

The ANP added “This increase is mainly due to the raise of phosphoric acid demands outside (579,000 tons / +26.4% increase), the increase in the demand for fertilizers (528,000 tons / 82.5% increase ), as well as the increase in demands for sulfur and ammonia (43.1% and 2.3% respectively).”
