After similar promises made by the only woman, Louiza Hanoune, running for the Algerian Presidential elections, scheduled on April, 17th, Ali Ben Felis, has also made the same promise, a Moroccan Algerian “no borders, only frontiers”.

Apparently, the normalisation of relations with Morocco is being heavily used during the Algerian presidential elections. Ben Felis, who is the former Algerian prime minister, promised also to work on a free Moroccan Algerian movement, between the two states, only via national identity cards.

The Algerian presidential elections candidate, concluded his election campaign speech, which was held in the Mahjoub regional teather in Algier, by making sounding statements regarding the fronzen “Great Maghreb”. Ben Felis described this integration project as an “Eagle which needs to fly”. This “Eagle”, according to Ben Felis, represents the aspirations of the Maghreb people.
