On Wednesday, Local authorities of the Ain Sbaa-Hay Mohammedi district arrested a 22 year old man who “slaughtered” his own mother in Hay Mohammedi at Casablanca.
According to the news site aufait, the local authorities came to arrest the man after a call reporting the crime; the police have discovered the body of a 50 year old woman, the suspect’s mother, slaughtered using a knife with 4 stab wounds in the face.
It is believed that the young man had a spat with his mother who refused to give him money to buy drugs.
Just two days before the incident, the suspect was in prison following a complaint that was filed by his cousin, who accused him of attempted murder. The suspect was released when the charges were dropped by his cousin.
