Ahmed Assid reacted to Fizzazi’s “King Mohammed VI won’t visit cathedrals in Morocco as they are constantly empty” comments.
Ahmed Assid wrote an article entitled “From Assid To Fizzazi: ‘Cathedrals are Empty because Morocco Forbids Praying There'” to react to Fizzazi’s words.
Assid denounced Fizzazi’s comments saying his words carry coal to the fire kindled by illiteracy in Morocco.
He said such comments go against Morocco’s well-known pluralist tradition.
