Standing as the only candidate for Presidency, Faouzi Lekjaa was appointed at the head of the Royal Federation of Moroccan Football (FRMF). This last presented the main objectives of his programme on Thursday at a press conference in Rabat.
Mr. Lekjaa insisted on the importance of training centers for players, coaches, medics and other members of clubs. He adds that professional football is dependent on these centers.
The newly appointed president also promised to increase the annual grants offered to clubs, in order to secure their financial stability.
Regarding the national team and the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations that will be hosted in the country, Mr. Lakjaa announced that the National Team will engage in intense preparation right after the end of Europe’s championships.
Finally, Mr. Lakjaa stressed on the restructure of the Federation, by involving all stakeholders of Moroccan football and guaranteeing a good communication among them.
