The Royal Moroccan Football Federation confirmed on Friday that a team from the Confederation of African Football is touring Morocco in order to inspect the selected sites for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
The selected cities are Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir and Tangier. The CAF delegation will inspect stadiums, training facilities as well as hotels.
“Meetings are scheduled with city authorities for a total involvement in the organisation process. The CAF delegation and Local Organising Committee (LOC) are working together to make the inspection process a success,” says the Royal Moroccan Football Federation.
Faouzi Lekjaa has promised to make of the hosting of African Cup of Nations a priority, along with the recruitment of a new head coach.
The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations will take place between January 17th and February 7th. Morocco hosted the tournament for the first time in 1988.
