The 7th edition of the Agricultural Forum will open today in Meknes.
Organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, the forum will be held around the theme of “Family Agriculture,” that is, how small agricultural projects can contribute to agricultural and rural development. Malian President Ibrahim Boubakar Keïta, who landed in Fez two days ago, is this year’s honorary guest to the forum.
This forum precedes the opening of the 9th International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco (SIAM), also held in Meknes starting Thursday April 24 and which will last till May 3. About 1000 participants representing 50 different countries are expected to be part of the exhibition.
