The tram has fatally struck a young woman Wednesday evening at Boulevard Mohammed V.
According to witnesses, the woman was arguing with a man, both drunk, at the edge of the rails at Boulevard Mohammed V.
According to a source at the Casa Tram, based on preliminary data, the young woman tried to flee the man with whom she had a spat. However, considering the place where she stood, it was impossible for the driver to see her.
The victim was crushed by the second coach of the tram when it was leaving the station. She died on the spot.
An investigation was opened by the police to determine the exact cause of the accident.
