According to the Moroccan Association of Human Rights (AMDH), a man in the Moroccan city of El Jadida set himself on fire in the city’s courthouse.
The man immolated himself to protest against the delay in the handling his case, AMDH said.
He was reported to have filed a complaint against individuals who attacked him and caused him to lose his eye.
Luckily for him, the man was rescued and identified with only first-degree burns after being transferred to a local hospital in Casablanca.
An investigation on the matter was opened, we understand.
