Moroccans Living Abroad in Europe have raised again the issue of their representation in parliament. A group of several associations have recently proposed the establishment of a new law that will found practical arrangements for the representation of this significant part of the Moroccan population.

This proposition, which should govern several issues such as the voting process and eligibility criteria, has been sent to both Houses of Parliament, several ministries and political parties.

The same group has reminded all stakeholders that the representation of Moroccans Living Abroad in the parliament has become a constitutional right since 2011.
