Leading sports outlet Goal.com said the Moroccan striker Chamakh used to wear Bordeaux socks and shin pads under Arsenal’s ones and is maybe keeping the same tradition in Palace.
TF1 pictured the player during an interview “strapping on Bordeaux-branded shin pads before putting on his Arsenal socks,” as reported by Goal.com.
This was, in fact, only the tip of the iceberg. Not only Chamakh actually wore Bordeaux socks underneath his Arsenal ones, but he continued to do so after moving across the capital to West Ham, the same source added.
The outlet says Chamack is, highly likely, keeping this tradition with current club Palace.

Chamack is well-known for his unconditional love to Bordeaux.
He said: “If one day, my path takes me back to France, it would be to Bordeaux. I read a lot of things in the press about it, but the president knows that if I wanted to come back, I’d just give him a ring and say: I’m coming. He’s a frank man and we understand each other. I’m from there, I grew up there, and I know everybody there. It’s my life.”
