King Mohammed VI has approved Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane’s request to make the 13th of March a national day to celebrate civil society.
This date has been chosen since it commemorates the starting day of the national dialogue on the new constitutional roles of civil society, which has ended a few days back.
According to On Magharibia News outlet, the Minister in charge of relations between the parliament and civil society has requested a royal involvement in the dialogue.
However, Mr. Choubani’s request was not met and a day to remember the dialogue was granted instead.
