Elements of the mobile brigade for search and intervention in Casablanca have been able to seize more than a 100 kilograms of hash and have arrested two suspect traffickers, explains a police source on Thursday, relayed by Aufait news outlet.
Detectives were able to collect different pieces of information regarding large suppliers of the economic city, which they have used to their advantage, reports Abdelilah Essaïd, head of the cell communication at the Casablanca police headquarters.
The authorities have been able to trap both suspects in a car with false number plates, which was carrying copious amounts of drugs, as well as other false plates and two sword-like blades.
An Investigation is now underway to trace the ones who are sponsoring this traffic.
