New York, The United States (TMT)- According to a news story published today on Annas (The People) newspaper, Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred was involved in a serious accident which saw a Kuwait diplomatic car run over a journalist called Al-Achabi, a journo working for Al Akhbar newspaper.
The accident occurred in Casablanca and Saad was not in a normal state, the source said.
Annas added that the authorities are expected to arrest Saad Lamjarred, especially that the victim went officially to court to lodge a complaint.
As relayed by the source, at the time of the accident, Lamjarred was seen with some Kuwaiti ladies and two Moroccan bodyguards.
Paramedics ran to the scene to attend to the journalist who was taken in urgency to a local hospital.
The victim was given a 35-day medical certificate to prove his incapacity for work after this tragic accident.
Saad Lamjarred was reported to have had a spat with the victim over photos taken by this latter before the event occured.
Nevertheless, it is worth highlighting that if the story reported by Annas newspaper is deemed true, Saad won’t probably be sitting in the hot seat since he wasn’t driving the diplomatic car in question.
