Around 118,084 MREs (Moroccans living abroad) returned to Morocco via the Tanger Med port, since the beginning of the Opération Marhaba 2014, a statement from the Port of Tanger Med read.
The Opération Marhaba 2014 started last June 5th. The statistics concern the period between June 5th to July 6th.
According to the same source, the total number of vehicles that crossed to Morocco via the same port amounted to 38,463 cars and 517 buses.
It is worth pointing out that The Foundation Mohammed VI, which contributes to the organization of this operation, commissioned, with the unveiling of this operation, welcome areas to better manage the maritime traffic flow of Port of Tanger Med.
