Moroccan pop star Saad Lamjarred decided to put an end to his dispute with Murad Al-Achabi, a journalist and photographer for Al Akhabar newspaper, through an official and formal apology after running Mr. Al-Achabi over with a car when this last tried to take a photo of him (Lamjarred).
Mr. Lamjarred declared in a statement the following: “I express my deep regrets for what happened and I want to assure that my dispute with Mr Murad Al-Achabi after taking pictures of me and the subsequent developments, could have been dealt with differently without anger or emotion”.
It is important to note that Mr. Al-Ashabi has filed a complaint against Saad Lamjarrad following his injury on the level of his legs and elbows, after he was run over by the pop star in Kuwaiti diplomatic car.
