The Minister of Tourism, Mr. Lahcen Haddad, has announced “the creation of the Moroccan Tourism Label”. This project is being currently further developed at the ministry of Tourism, with the contribution of various departments, including, the minister named, “a department of Foreign Affairs, the Foreign trade and Handicrafts council, as well as the Ministry in charge of Moroccans Residing Abroad”.
“The Moroccan Tourism Label will highly promote the Moroccan destination among international tourists,” Mr. Haddad was quoted saying.
Few Months ago, the Moroccan Association of Marketing and Communication started a study in this regard; the study is being finalized, supposedly, by August.
The Ministry of tourism is intending to launch also a Moroccan Tourism Fair, which will be held either in Casablanca or Marrakesh.
