After the Moroccan Authorities’ official announcement of an alert state and possible terrorist threats, which are associated with the increasing number of Moroccans fighting among the ranks of the Islamic State (formerly known as ISIS), France has asked its citizens travelling to Morocco to be vigilant, reports Alyaoum 24.
The French authorities’ tip to their nationals came in the form of a circulated statement released today by the French Foreign Ministry, where it asked for vigilance and commitment to the complete set of instructions stipulated in the statement.
France has also reminded its citizens that Morocco has announced an alert state across the country to confront these terrorist threats.
Some of the security instructions that were given to French Nationals include staying away from gatherings and protests, informing Moroccan authorities in case of encountering some suspicious behaviour and most importantly taking the threats that were announced by the Kingdom seriously.
