The Tunisian Ministry of Defense announced earlier today the passing away of 14 Tunisian soldiers, who were attacked by a terrorist group at Chaambi Mount in Borders with Algeria.
The communication department responsible, Rachid Bouhoula, was quoted saying that “while breaking the Ramdan fast, two terrorist groups attacked two monitoring stations of the Tunisian National Army with machine guns and RPGs, resulting in the death of 14 soldiers”.
According to the local press, this is the heaviest loss for the Tunisian Army since independance.
