A statement from the Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that Morocco calls for the immediate stopping of ‘unacceptable and unjustified’ Israeli attack against Gaza, which resulted up to know in the killing of at lease 425 Palestinians.
“The Kingdom of Morocco, which closely follows and has concerns over the Israeli military escalation against the Palestinian unarmed people, had flatly condemned the offensive which has been going on for 12 days now by Israel’s occupation forces against Gaza, claiming many lives and destroying Palestinian properties,” the statement reads.
Morocco also warned against the military ground invasion of Gaza by the occupation forces.
“Any ground military operation would result in more bloodshed by innocent civilians, worsen the situation, stir tension and spread the culture of animosity and hatred,” the statement goes.
“The Kingdom of Morocco calls for resorting to wisdom and immediately halting the (Israeli) offensive against Gaza, which is unacceptable, unjustified and deplorable by the international law and human rights values, said the statement,” the statement closes.
