The video underneath, which was shared by the Jewish Voice for Peace on its Facebook page, shows international and Palestinian volunteers accompanying Civil Defense and other rescue crews, as well as family members, into Shujaya, in an attempt to locate survivors of overnight and ongoing shelling by the Israeli army.
A young Palestinian man, in a green t-shirt, who hoped to reach his family’s home, was shot by an Israeli soldier while crossing an alley between buildings.
Two additional rounds struck him as he lay injured on the ground.
The Jewish Voice for Peace organization reported the very tragic event and shared the video on its Facebook page, saying that an “Israeli sniper shoots a Palestinian civilian searching for his family, then shoots him again as he lies wounded in the rubble.”

The young man was seen tacking the Shahada few seconds before he passed away.
