Roma’s coach Rudi Garcia has confirmed that Mehdi Benatia will stay in Roma for the upcoming season, ruling out any prospective transfer to Manchester city.
Rudi Garcia was reported to say the following:
“Mehdi is under contract and will play with Roma this season.”
“Fortunately the president manages to speak to all the players and yesterday he talked to everyone.”
“Tomorrow Benatia will play against Liverpool.”
Benatia himself confirmed the piece of news few days ago when he was caught saying, to a group of A.S Roma supporters, the following:
“Thanks for the affection. I think I will stay here.”
