Rabat, Morocco (TMT)-A video featuring a young Moroccan woman giving birth in the lobby of a health center in Casablanca sparked outrage among Morocco’s Internet users, especially on Facebook.
The one could hear a person, believed to be the delivering woman’s brother, shouting the following:
“This is a scandal. If they want the scandal, they will have it. I’ll send this video to all the newspapers so that they will see this tragedy.”
“Record this please. There is no police. There is no Makhzen. There is no ambulance. I have been calling them for more than one hour and nobody answers.”
The one could also hear towards the very beginning of the video a woman asking someone to “give her anything on sight to cut the umbilical cord.”
Reports on the net say that the scene would have occurred in the lobby of a health facility in Hay Mohammadi in Casablanca.Â
