Two of the most credible Italian newspapers declared today that Juventus succeeded convincing the French midfielder star Paul Pogba to renew his contract to 2018 or even 2019.
Pogba’s performance with Juventus and winning the best young player in the world cup made him a hot deal on the transfer market, catching the attention of Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Manchester City.
The two Italian newspapers both agree that the wages are thought to be €3.2m per season, plus a further €1m in performance related bonuses for the 21-year-old. However, Corriere dello Sport claims the expiry is set for June 2018 while Tuttosport insists the contract will last until June 2019.
