Renowned Moroccan Writer Abderrahim El Moudden Died in The Netherlands

Moroccan writer and researcher Abderrahim El Moudden died Sunday, July 27th 2014 in the Netherlands at the age of 66, announces the Union of Moroccan Writers (UEM) in their official website.

“The Union has received the sad news of the death of the writer Abderrahim El Moudden on Sunday in the Netherlands where the deceased was receiving treatment due to a long illness,” says the Union in a statement.

Born in 1948, Mr El Moudden has continuously proven himself as a great writer through his creative and academic spirit. He was renowned for his novels and writings in theater, as well as his love for literature destined to children.

According to the Union of Moroccan Writers, Mr El Moudden was also known for his research in culture, history and literature. His works have made of him an important reference for researchers and students in the Kingdom and Abroad. May he rest in peace.
