Famous Egyptian artist and comedian Said Saleh has passed away this morning at the age of 76 after a long struggle with illness, reports different Egyptian and Arab news sources.
Egyptian medical sources in the hospital of Cairo have officially announced his death. It is believed that his family has not settled yet on the date and place of his burial.
Said Saleh is one of the most famous and distinguished comedians alongside Adel Imam, especially after his role of the non-compliant student in the play “Madrasat al-Mushaghibine” (School of the naughty), which is considered one of the best works in Egyptian theater.
Mr Saleh has disappeared from the artistic scene a while before his death due to his deteriorated health condition.
