Talking about the prospective artificial beach of Fes, which is expected to be unveiled by the horizon 2016 after that the council of the city of Fes has given the green light to go ahead with the project last week, Chabat answered a Moroccan journalist’s question which revolved around whether the said beach will have non-mixed zones or not.
Chabat said: “We are Not Daiich”, refering to the Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS), commonly known among Moroccans as Daiich.
He added: “We are not Daiich to have such kind of beaches in Fes.”
