Hassan Baraka, a 27-year-old Moroccan, will be crossing from Alaska to Russia, as part of his goal to be the first Moroccan to swim between every continent.
KTVA news outlet said that the man is set to swim from Little Diomede Island, Alaska to Big Diomede Island, Russia.

The young man’s aim in swimming between continents is not only to be the first Moroccan to do so, but also to bring awareness to many world issues, including raising awareness “that borders don’t have to divide people.”
