US President Barack Obama announced on Tuesday during the US-Africa Leaders Summit that the next Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) will be held in Marrakech on November 20-21. This is the first time an African country is to host the summit.

GES is the largest entrepreneurship summit focused on global business scenarios, women entrepreneurship, youth entrepreneurship, emerging enterprises, global brand creation, innovations and many interactive sessions by experts from different fields. It is a platform to share experience, learning and innovations in entrepreneurship while exploring opportunities.

The Global Entrepreneurship Summit is a huge event, which witnesses every year the participation of many countries’ heads of states.

The 5th edition of the summit will be dedicated to the promotion of investment in Africa.

The four previous editions took place in the United States (2010), Turkey (2011), the United Arab Emirates (2012) and Malaysia (2013).
