An anti-Israeli rally in Norway called on the Oslo government to take a stricter stance against the Tel Aviv regime over its latest atrocities against the oppressed people in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The protesters, including Muslims and non-Muslims, political parties, humanitarian organizations and pro-Palestine activists, gathered outside the Norwegian parliament, and urged the government to do more for Palestinians and stop Israel from killing Palestinian children, Al-Alam reported.

The demonstrators also urged the Norwegian government to make sure no Norwegian weapons end up in the hands of Israeli regime and to impose a complete boycott on Israeli products.

“We want the government of Norway to stop products from Israel to sell here in Norway because they kill people,” a protestor said.

People in Iran, the US, Jordan, Tunisia, Turkey, France, Indonesia , Britain and many other countries have also taken to the streets, calling for a halt to the Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people and measures against the Israeli regime.

Israel launched the latest war against the blockaded Gaza Strip on July 8. Nearly 2,000 Palestinians, mostly civilians, have so far lost their lives and at least 11,000 have been injured in the Israeli war.

Moreover, nearly 400,000 Palestinian children are in immediate need of psychological help due to the “catastrophic and tragic impact” of the Israeli war, according to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).

Next month, a panel appointed by the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) will start investigating the crimes committed by Israel in its war on Gaza.
