According to a recent study conducted by the Department of Studies and Financial Projections of the the Moroccan Ministry of Economy and Finance, Morocco’s exports concern mainly “20 destinations while 2.9% of products in the country’s portfolio answer to 80% of foreign sales.”
The study, which was based on a survey, came up with the conclusion that “only 11% of the target markets, or 20 countries, and 2.9% of the products available accounted for 80% of total exports in 2012.”
The results of the study indicate that Morocco can do way too better than the actual situation, especially in the wake of the many reforms currently taking place.
