A 13-year-old Moroccan boy, who holds the Belgian citizenship as well, is currently fighting with the Islamic State, formerly known as the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

Younes Abaaoud is believed to be the youngest Moroccan fighting with the said terrorist organization.

The Guardian reported that the young boy’s father said that “his son was taken to Syria after Abdelhamid [his 27-year-old son] has been brainwashed in Belgium into joining the struggle.”

The picture above shows the young boy dressed in robes and posing with an assault rifle.

Younes was reported to have left school in Bruxells to join the jihadists in Syria.

Belgian media said that it is not clear if Youness is actually fighting, or living away from the front lines.
