After that a collective grievance was raised to his majesty by several beneficiaries of a housing project in Al Hoceima, directed by the General Properties Company (CGI) subsidiary of CDG, king Mohammed VI has ordered both the Ministers of Interior and Finance to conduct an investigation in the matter, in full accordance with the Moroccan law.

The beneficiaries, most of which are Moroccans living abroad, complained about several technical failures in the project; which has been confirmed by preliminary investigations.

Similarly, the services of the General Inspectorate of Finance will undertake a management control of the project, including its financial aspects.
