The director of the Ouarzazate Film Commission, Abderrazzak Zitouny, has declared that “more than 75% of film production income in Morocco, in 2014, has been made in Ouarzazate”.

Mr. Zitouny also emphasized “the great influx of foreign productions to Morocco this year and particularly to Ouarzazate”.

“Film industry revival in Ouarzazate has a very positive impact on tourism in the city, as significantly increase the level of overnight stays,” commented the director of the Ouarzazate Film Commission.

Mr. Zitouny added that the city is preparing to host the shooting of the French film “The New Adventures of Aladdin” directed by Arthur Benzaquen.
