The Moroccan minister of Health has announced the creation of a “national commission” to prepare a “health plan” against “Ebola disease”, as Morocco is hosting the FIFA Club World Cup and the African Nations Cup.
According to the ministry of Health, this operational plan will meet the FIFA and the African Confederation of Football (CAF) requirements besides the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations.
“The Ebola checking systems will be deployed at the border entry points, host cities, stadiums, fan zones and other welcoming places” declared the minister of health during a meeting held in Rabat with the President of the Moroccan Royal Federation of Football and the two national committees in charge of the two events.
