3 Moroccans Among Forbes Magazine’s “Most Powerful Arab Women”

Three Moroccans made it to Forbes magazine’s ranking of the 200 most powerful Arab women (Business category), in a list where Egyptian women took the lion’s share in terms of total entries with 29 women listed, followed closely by Saudi Arabia (27 entries), and the UAE (26 entries).

The Business list was topped by Raja Easa Al found Gurg from the UAE, CEO of the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group LLC, followed by Lubna Olayan, the head of the Olayan Group, and then Mona Almoayyed, leader of Y K Almoayyed & Sons Group, a well-known family business in Saudi Arabia.

Miriem Bensaleh Chaqroun, head of Holmarcom Group, was ranked 15th while Salwa Idrissi Akhannouch, the executive director of Aksal Group ranked 18thNadia Kettani, a corporate lawyer working for the Casablanca-based company Kettani Law Firm ranked 49th.
