The Moroccan office of changes has published its preliminary indexes regarding the Moroccan foreign trade during the period of January through August 2014.

According to the published data, Morocco’s exports from the automotive industry have increased by 32.6% in contrast to the same period of 2013.

However, the kingdom’s exports of phosphate have astonishingly decreased by more than 7%  in terms of net income, not quantity, reaching around 25 billion dirhams instead of 26.96 billion dirhams a year earlier, mainly due to a drop in the mineral’s price in the global market.

Figures from the aforementioned office also show an increase of 26.3% in electronics exports.
