Morocco and Singapore Signed recently an important agreement to avoid double taxation (DTA).
According to a press communiqué The Moroccan Times received yesterday form the “Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, this agreement “will facilitate trade and investment flows between Singapore and Morocco by providing greater clarity on taxing rights and minimising the scope of double taxation between the two countries.
“Amongst other provisions, the DTA provides for tax exemption in the country of source on profits derived from the operations of ships or aircraft in international traffic and lower withholding tax rates for dividends and interest,” the communiqué read.
