King Mohamed VI to Give a Talk in New York in Front of the United Nations General Assembly

As mentioned in an official statement issued by the royal palace in Rabat, King Mohamed VI will be heading today to New York to participate in the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly that will start on Wednesday.

According to the UN, the king will address the assembly on the first morning of the general debate. The last participation of the monarch in the General Assembly was in 2004.

In 2013, Morocco was represented by Saaddine El Otmani while Prince Moulay Rachid intervened in 2012.

King Mohamed VI will also participate in the UN Climate Change Summit, which will be held on the sidelines of the General Debate. $

The Moroccan monarch will be the first one to speak in this meeting.
