Senegalese Citizens are set to protest in front of the Moroccan embassy in Dakar to denounce the “slaughter like a sheep” of one of their compatriots in Boukhalef, Tangier.
According to various Senegalese news outlets, the said Senegalese citizens, in coordination with local NGOs, are currently organizing a march-protest to denounce the depicable act of horror their countryman has endured in Morocco.
One week ago, the city of Tangier wore black of dismay following a group of Moroccan thugs slaughtering in an Eid-El-Adha-like manner an illegal Senegalese immigrant in Boukhalef, Tangier (photo above).
Early reports after incarcerating the perpetrators indicates that the criminal gang was settling accounts with the late.
It is not clear yet whether the late was a part of the gang or not. Yet, the Senegalese was proven to have prior-relations with the gang.
As a matter of fact, the criminals broke into the late’s house and took him out by force, before slaughtering him in cold blood, like a sheep, with an arm-long knife, on the streets of Boukhalef, one of Tangier’s poorest neighborhoods.
Following this inhuman and depicable act of terror, many Moroccans echoed their dismay and totally condemned this immoral act, that does not represent by any mean mainstream Moroccans.
Quite the contrary, as the chorus in Morocco goes, Senegal is the most beloved African Country to Moroccans.
The very sad event was a pure criminal act following a setting accounts spat, nothing to do with racism as many Senegalese outlets reported.
