The Moroccan Ministry of Governance and General Affairs, headed by Mr. Mohamed Louafa, said that all the prices of petroleum products, at the exception of gasoline, in Morocco will undergo a drop during the first half of September.
The price of Benzine will decrease by 19 centimes while, on the other hand, the price of diesel will remain unchanged.
Those changes went under effect starting from yesterday and will concern the first half of the month of September, the Ministry said.
It is worth pointing out that gas prices in Morocco undergo a revision on the 1st and 16th of each month, in accordance with last year’s adopted indexation measure, which links gas prices in Morocco to any increase or decrease in the international market.
