Khalfi: ISIS Terrorist Threats Won’t Affect the Moroccan Touristic Sector.

The Moroccan Times relayed few days ago an article from Morocco’s leading economy daily Leconomiste entitled “60% of French Tourists Cancel Their Bookings to Morocco.”

Le 360.ma reported the Moroccan Minister of Communication and the Government’s spokesman saying that “the tourism sector in Morocco will maintain its growth line, despite the tension related to the threats of terrorism.”

Le 360′s report said that Mr. Khalfi was quite skeptical about Leconomiste’s report.

Mr. Khalfi was reported to have said that “the level of bookings for the coming months is satisfactory.”

“We can not talk about a drop when three new routes were recently created. Namely the Paris/Essaouira route, the Frankfurt/Marrakech one and the weekly route from Iceland to Morocco,” stressed Mr. Khalfi.
