A Stanford professor that goes by the name Patrick Brown has recently created a 100% vegetarian burger that tastes exactly like a cheeseburger.
The secret of this discovery according to the Stanford professor is a “plant blood” that “replicates the taste of meat, ” the Independent reported.
“The sanguine liquid has the same consistency and metallic taste of blood and comes from the same molecule found in haemoglobin, which plays a big part in steak’s distinctive taste,” the aforementioned source went on further to say.
“The Impossible Burger is said to also have the same consistency as meat,” the source added.
It would be interesting to see if this Burger’s market will attract Muslims who can’t find much Halal food restaurants in some western countries.
