Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric and Keylor Navas were awarded with the Best Player, Best Forward and Best Individual Goal, Best Defender, Best Midfielder and Best Goalkeeper awards respectively for the 2013-14 Liga BBVA season. The ceremony was held in Madrid on Monday.
Cristiano Ronaldo picked up awards for Best Player and Best Forward as well as Best La Liga Goal for his acrobatic back-heeled volley against Valencia.
Keylor Navas made the most saves last season greatly helping Levante to concede the fifth fewest goals in the division. He came ahead of Courtois and Caballero in the voting.
Sergio Ramos was awarded the Best Defender in La Liga for the second consecutive year. Last season, he played 32 games and managed to score 4 goals.
The award of the best midfielder was given to Luka Modric who came ahead of Gabi and Busquets in the voting. He played 34 games last season with the Blancos.
The award for the Best Manager of La Liga went to Diego Simeone, coach of Atletico Madrid.
Andrés Iniesta has claimed the Liga BBVA Best Attacking Midfielder award at the LFP Awards for the 2013-14 season in La Liga. He made 36 appearances with the Blaugranas and managed to score 3 goals. He beat Ivan Rakitic and Koke in the voting.
