Liverpool could move for Marco Reus after Borussia Dortmund ended contract negotiations with the Germany international.
Reus had rejected the offer of a new deal at Dortmund two months ago, but the German club have been holding talks with the talented forward to try and get the attacker to change his mind, Metro reported.
However, they’ve seemingly proved unsuccessful, and Reus now looks certain to be leaving, with the Daily Express confirming all talks are now over.
The news will alert Liverpool, who are believed to be leading the race for Reus, having reportedly made him their number one transfer target.
It’s claimed a bid of £32 million would be enough to get Reus, who wants a contract worth £180,000-a-week.
