RABAT- Morocco’s capital Rabat may witness a north African clash in the second phase of the upcoming FIFA 2014 clubs world cup between the host team Atletico Tetouan and Algeria’s ES Sétif.
Atletico Tetouan will have first to cruise through Aucklend City, a game scheduled for the 10th of December in Rabat.
ES Setif made it to the World Cup yesterday following its historical victory at the CAF Champions League. The event was considered “historical” as it coincided with the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of Algerian Revolution. It was perceived as a gift from the said team to the Algerian people .
After Es Setif victory in the Africa Champions league, All the 7 teams that will be fighting for the title are known. Namely, Real Madrid, San Lorenzo, W. Sydney Wanderers, Cruz Azul, ES Sétif, Auckland City, and Moghreb Tétouan.
