Muscat, OMAN- The Sultanate of Oman’s citizens and residents rejoiced as His Majesty Sultan Qaboos addressed the nation from Germany where is recuperating and undergoing follow up treatment. The youth were out on the streets celebrating the event.They expressed their profound joy and happiness when they came to know that their beloved leader has started to enjoy good health. Everybody in Oman heaved a sigh of relief and thanked the Almighty for granting His Majesty sound health again.
His Majesty Sultan Qaboos spoke thus in a televised address on the national channel – Sultanate of Oman Television :
‘’ Dear Citizens, it is our pleasure to greet you as our lovely Nation is celebrating the glorious 44th National Day. We thank Allah for blessing us with wisdom to lead Oman to a modern nation with a promising future. Our nation is heading forward with steady fundamentals since the emergence of renaissance. Due to Allah’s Will, the National Day coincides with our presence in Germany for reasons you all know. We thank Allah, for His blessings for aacieving good medical results, which requires us to follow a medical programme.’’
His Majesty Sultan Qaboos added that, ‘’We express our deep gratitude for your warm and sincere prayers and feelings and would like to thank the Royal Armed Forces of Oman for their dedicated services. We appreciate their patriotism.’’
In his conclusion, the noble Sultan said,’’ We ask Allah for His continuous blessings for the prosperity of Oman. By Allah’s Will, we seek constantly to euip our forces in order to fulfill their noble duty to protect the land.’’
The televised address of His Majesty the Sultan reflects his love for the citizens of Oman. He is longing to get back but has to stay in Germany for follow up treatment. Sultan Qaboos is one of the rare rulers in modern times, who loves his subjects his own family. He has worked day in and day out for the progress and prosperity of his people. The great transformation that can be seen is that the citizens and residents lead a peaceful and prosperous life in this modern nation. The Sultan’s efforts to improve the status of life have yielded positive results in all spheres of life. May Allah preserve His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and grant him a long, long and healthy life and allow him to lead Oman as a developed nation in the future.
