CAF to react to Morocco’s decision next Tuesday.

The African Confederation of Football (CAF) won’t react to Morocco’s decision, to not host the African cup on schedule due to Ebola fears, until the African body meets in Cairo next Tuesday for an urgent meeting.

The speculations has it that Morocco may face charges following this decision, but the Moroccan officials are very confident in their decision and are even ready to go to international court to defend the case, if needed.

The CAF media director Junior Binyam told Reuters that “a meeting of African football’s governing body in Cairo on Tuesday now faces the prospect of having to cancel their gala event, unless they have a solution in their back pocket.”

“We will not be making any statements until after the meeting makes a final decision,” the CAF media director said.
