Former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh to Reside in Morocco.

According to various Yemeni news outlets, Yemen’s former President Ali Abdullah Salih is expected to spend the rest of his life in Morocco following the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) imposing sanctions on him for his direct involvement in the acts of unrest that Yemen has witnessed since 2011.

Abdullah Salih, who held the reigns of powers in his country for more than 33 years, is expected to come “very soon to Morocco” and the GCC thinks his “deportation” out of Yemen is essential to solve the ongoing unrest.

The said sources noted further that Salih’s residency choice was dictated by the Gulf Cooperation Council and not by the  man himself.
